This as far as I have been on the trail. The ties are rotting on this old trestle and someone set fire to it and burned a hole in it about 6 feet across. This is about 3.5 miles from the end of the pavement. Building this bridge will cost a lot of money, but this will be one of the most beautiful sections of the trail.
