Cahaba River Park
Helena, Alabama

Cahaba River park is a Forever Wild Tract. The Cahaba river borders it on one side. It is suitable for many different activities and Mountain Biking is one of them. My experience riding there is limited, but I sure enjoyed my trip there.

Here is my ride on a very hot day the summer of 2020. I started on Flying Squirrel and rode it to Rust Bucket. Then Rust Bucket back to the trailhead where I was parked. Then I took Northern Pines to Reflection which then took me to a nice pavilion. There were picnic tables, water, and restrooms there. At the pavilion I got on Wild Turkey and rode it back to the trailhead.
It was very hot and past my dinner time. So I went to Beef O'Brady's in Helena and got a huge cheeseburger on the back patio.

Here are links to maps of the trails. One map is a pdf file which will print great from your browser.
One map is a jpg file which you can modify as you want.
Two of the maps are each half of the trail map for a larger view of the trails if you need it.
